Metropolitan Fire is an authorized
dealer and service center with two full-time service technicians that can provide
you with service either at our location or yours. Our mobile service can provide
less turn around time on the equipment. Scott Health and Safety recommends the
Air-Pak be functionally tested by a Scott-authorized service facility using
Scott-supplied or approved test equipment at least every two years or more frequently
if the apparatus is in heavy use or exposed to severe conditions. From bi-annual
flow testing, to cylinder hydrostatic testing and refilling, your equipment has only
one stop: Metropolitan Fire. Don't let your equipment be questionable, let us
certify it for your men and women.
OSHA 1910.134 states that any workplace that requires respiratory protection for its employees that it will be provided by the employer and Metropolitan can help. Full face-piece respirators with a wide variety of cartridge filtration or closed system, we can provide and service. Services, such as fit-testing, can insure your employees that they are wearing the right equipment. Other products like Four Gas Monitors and Single Gas Monitors are also available and are serviced in our service center.
